Tat HoeDown/Booze, & Tattoos.

Hey all. It’s that time again. Jime Litwalk, Jonathan Gearheart, and I are teaming up with Chris Hollifield of Dragons Den, and CTAG Productions in Lenoir NC, for a 3 day event.
BOOZE, & TATTOOS (Saturday 12-7pm)
Chris has been hosting His Carolina, Tattoo, & Arts Gathering Tattoo convention. Started back in 2017. He’s got an amazing Hall to host many great events. So it’s here that we’ll be hosting the next Tat HoeDown!
First day (Saturday March 28th). We’ll be helping Chris celebrate the opening of his distillery, with his event “Booze, and Tattoos. A customer appreciation, night of libations, and tattoo contests. Doors will be at 6ish, till midnight. A tattoo competition will be held at 7pm, and Live music, local vendors, and tattooing, will fill up the rest of the evening.
All presenters of the HoeDown will have booths to sell merch, and hang with other guests. This is the only event of the 3 days that will have a $10. Admissions fee. This is to offset the costs of the space, and prizes for Chris, and his company.
TAT HOEDOWN (SUNDAY, & MONDAY).
The following 2 days (Sunday and Monday, the 29th, & 30th). We’ll be hosting the HoeDown in the same hall. Doors will open at noon, and we’ll start with the first of 3 presentations at 1pm. Presentations will be held throughout the day, broken up by hangs, drawing, painting, and tattooer mingles.
The idea of the Tat HoeDown (for those not in the know), is about the sharing of information, knowledge, and general camaraderie. Something that the 3 of us felt was missing in today’s world, and tattoo conventions. We wanted to start a movement, like a throwback to conventions of the early 2000’s. When tattooers hung out late, created together, exchanged knowledge, and just made friends, and talked a bit of shit.
